Baseball - Jeremie Torres had a fantastic month of April for the Bulldogs. Jeremie had a 2-1 record during the month of April. The right hander pitched 25.2 innings allowing 21 hits, 4 earned runs and striking out 32 batters. He currently holds a 2.18 ERA and most recently broke the BCC season strikeout record. He set the record on the last game of the year with 70 total.
On the offensive side, Catcher Dylan Habeeb has had a consistent and productive April at the plate. He batted .396 with 21 hits and 53 at bats. He 5 doubles, 3 triples and Homered. He also had a 6 game hitting streak.
Isaiah Acosta had a big month of April, which was spotlighted by a dramatic two run home run that won the series from Ocean County College. He batted .382 in the month of April with 3 doubles, a triple and a game winning homerun.
Men's Track & Field - Jamie Cooper and Muhammed Omabli had a wonderful month of April. They will both travel to nationals after qualifying in their events. Jamie Cooper qualified for the Javelin event with a throw of 43.38m. Muhammed qualified in the 110 meter Hurdles with a sprint of 15.64.
Women's Track & Field - Multi-sport athlete, Allison Bryan had a tremendous month for the Bulldogs of Bergen. She qualified in the follow event and will compete at Nationals. She is ranked 7th in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 18.57. Allison is also ranked 7th in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:14.14. Her High Jump event is one of the events that she will have a good opportunity to win. Currently, she is ranked third in the High Jump with a leap of 1.50m. Allison has a possibility to with a championship in the Long Jump where she is currently ranked fourth with a leap of 10.30m.in 4.22m.
