Bio

Nick Grasso brings a championship pedigree and a wealth of coaching experience to Bergen Community College baseball. A former student-athlete at Post University, Grasso has built his career on player development, recruiting, and fostering a winning culture both on and off the field.

Grasso spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Dominican College, where he worked extensively with hitters and outfielders while also playing a key role in recruiting. During his tenure, Dominican consistently competed at a high level, producing standout players and maintaining a tradition of excellence within the program.

In summer collegiate baseball, Grasso made his mark as the Head Coach of the Palmetto Generals in the Beach Collegiate Baseball League (BCBL). In 2020, he guided the Generals to a league Championship Title, producing 17 All-League selections, including the league’s Cy Young Award winner. His success with the Generals established him as a proven leader capable of building rosters and developing talent from across all levels of college baseball.

Currently serving as the General Manager of the Palmetto Generals and Carolina Cyclones in the BCBL, Grasso continues to recruit, mentor, and advance players from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and JUCO programs.

In addition to his summer league success, Grasso has held key coaching roles at Albertus Magnus College, the Mystic Schooners of the NECBL, and several competitive travel baseball programs. His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, leadership, sportsmanship, and preparing athletes for the next level of competition.

With his proven track record of championships and player development, Coach Grasso looks to build Bergen Community College into a contender while instilling a culture of accountability, hard work, and success. 

One of his notable achievements was helping Dominican College win the CACC championship in 2021.
